Andy Walling

Endurance coach, ageing, middle age spreading, individual. I coach the middle distance group. We do track sessions on a Monday and hills on a Wednesday during the winter, there are occasional rep sessions on a Saturday morning dependent on races, other commitments. I competed for Wales on the track and XC. We have a group of mixed abilities and age groups, the younger ones excel in talking and dodging stretches/warm downs!!

 

 Kathy Wingate

Junior coach, for 7 to 13 year olds. I am the one with white hair, most likely the next to oldest coach in the club after Joe. But I am catching him up next year with a landmark birthday. I started my Athletic career at the age of 51 years and ran road races including 26 marathons. Then I was persuaded by Helen, Andy’s wife to join my first track club, Treborth, in 2003. I have been here ever since.
